Amanda McKechnie attended the University of Arizona, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism in 1996. She attended the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, graduating with a J.D. in 1999. Ms. McKechnie has worked with the California Commission on Athletics, the Sacramento County Public Defender and with Community Legal Services. She was admitted to the California Bar in 2000, and is a member of the State Bar of California, County Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, the Association of Defense Counsel and the American Subcontractors Association.
Ms. McKechnie volunteers extensively with programs such as the Constitutional Rights Foundation Mock Trial Program, Court Appointed Special Advocates, Globe Aware and the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Her practice focuses primarily on construction defect and injury defense, as well as general litigation and counseling.
